Lathe turning

Lathes are used for a range of machining processes including inner and outer diameter, thread cutting and tapering.

Even at the coarse grinding stage, we aim for maximum possible accuracy so as to boost the efficiency of the following stages.

We have particular expertise in grinding hardened materials such as cement carbide and heat-treated materials.

Machining center

The high-speed machining center operates at speeds of up to 60,000 rpm on the main shaft.

Through a combination of superior deviation accuracy, minor diameter tools and cutting expertise, we are able to improve the surface roughness of products. We have particular expertise in cutting hardened materials such as cemented carbide and high-speed steel.

Grinding and polishing

We have a wide range of grinding and polishing equipment including surface, cylindrical and bore grinders.

In this way, we can produce any shape or form to the required level of accuracy.

Wire electrical discharge machining

We have several wire-cut and electrical discharge machining systems

Our expert knowledge of equipment characteristics results in accurate finishes. By operating equipment overnight, we are able to reduce turnaround times.

Shrink fit and press fit applications

Rhine Seiko offers in-house shrink fitting and press fitting of ceramic and other parts into outer casings.

This means that we can offer the full suite of services from machining through to press and shrink fitting.
